Getting Involved
There are as many ways to get involved with Kwagala Project as there are unique people and talents. What you'll find below is just a sampling.

Host an Event
Whether it's an exclusive wine and cheese party, a golf outing, or a local battle of the bands, hosting a social event for Kwagala Project allows you to raise support and awareness simultaneously as you publicize the event and publicly thank your guests. Adding raffles, auctions and other fundraising opportunities to an event can add to their success and draw more guests. It's your event, so fundraising goals, pricing, location, etc. is entirely up to you.

Sell Jewelry
The girls regularly hand-make jewelry at our vocational center in Bwaise and can make to order for your school or organization. Sell bracelets before the Homecoming game, include them in the cost of a ticket and then distribute them at your class reunion, or have your organization host a jewelry party or sale.

Spread the Word
The more people know about the challenges faced by vulnerable young people around the world, the more options will be available to girls and women who were previously trapped in desperate circumstances. Together, we can change their reality. Talk to your friends about us, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and share our tweets with your followers, write about us on your blog and in forums you participate in. In short, just spread the word however it works for you.

Sponsor a Girl
From food and living expenses to counseling and an education, just $2500 provides everything a girl needs for an entire year. When you sponsor a girl, the impact is clear and immediate: we are able to take one more girl out of a desperate situation and help her take the first steps toward a new life.

We believe personal relationships are the key to healing and self-worth, and giving means more for everyone involved when it's interactive. With some limitations to protect the girls, we provide sponsors with information about the progress of their beneficiaries and even encourage personal contact. You won't just be writing a check once a year, but changing the life of a young girl you can watch blossom into the person she was meant to be.
